THUNDERSTORM TUESDAY

Storm clouds gathering and at last we have rain a little thunder and rain not too heavy but something we have not had for over a month except a few spits.

I am having fun with camera settings and dodging showers. Oh what to do for tomorrow. Do I leave on automatic or choose SCN and landscape or then I could choose one for foliage. I have been snapping on all three and yes the foliage does bring out the green definition a little on medium depth but perhaps landscape as above will be better for show gardens. At least I found my Macro setting ok not like my last camera.

I have also been playing around with editing but such a long way to go yet. Oh what fun I do hope it doesn't rain tomorrow at Hampton Court. I hope our thunderstorm misses the show today.

Who would have believed so much fun could come from starting a blog.

Thank you those who have signed my guest book at the bottom it is nice meeting you all.

  5. Doesn't it always rain at Hampton Court:-)?
We had a deluge yesterday and today. I was glad that I had protected my nicest plants just in time.
Glad to hear that you are having fun with your new camera. Mine is now missing so many pixels that I am considering upgrading as well. You are getting so much detail in your photos, something mine never manages. Looking forward to your Hampton Court reportage.Don't go spending too much money now :-)

  6. Have a great day at Hampton court tomorrow, we go on Thursday and it's meant to be the hottest day, which means that the 'country living' marquis will be unbearably hot and i love it in there.

  7. Garden blogging is just a whole new wonderful world. I love all the friends I've made around the world. I've learned so much about gardening, photography and computers since I started.
I hope you get enough rain to revive your plants and then it stops so you can enjoy the show. You're doing great with your new camera, it's a lot of fun trying out the different settings.
