Where would we be without all the lovely Nurseries? These are just a small selection but such wonderful displays and much food for thought.
Letting the garden grow
I decided to write about my passion for gardening past, present and future. I have been ill suffering with Lyme Disease since May 2003 but at last after long term antibiotic treatment getting my life back and can again enjoy my garden.
It's like all my Christmas's have come together.
ReplyDeleteYou must have got there early to get photos of the stands with hardly anyone in.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and thank you for taking me to Hampton Court through your blog! Wanted to get there, but just couldn't make it!
ReplyDeleteI certainly enjoyed the tour! Wish I could pick up a few of their plants for my garden.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Carolyn
Wonderful photos, I would hate to go though, far too much temptation!
ReplyDeleteAmongst all those photos somewhere I spotted my mystery plant! :) Oh I can't wait for mine to open!!!
Lovely pic's, I am so glad you took these ones as I didn't so it's nice to see them again.
ReplyDeleteDid you buy anything ?? silly question really I bet you did !!
Very impressive nursery! I love just strolling around them and look at everything - only problem is that when I do I that I end buying stuff I didn't need. -Jackie
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your comments. It was a priviledge to go to such a wonderful show but I wish I had chance to get my head around my new camera first.
ReplyDeleteLiz I suspect your mystery plant is going to be lovely if it is the one I think I lost my original during the snow but have some baby seedlings in the greenhouse.
Maureen I wondered who would ask. I find that when faced with such a choice I tend to end up not buying anything. It's what I take away in my mind that counts ideas for a later day. At present I am struggling to find room for what I have grown.
Thanks for the tour Joanne - some absolutely beautiful displays. Those alliums look breathtaking !
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have bought that metal "thistle" water feature I posted - but we can't bring that home on the plane. They even impounded our apples at Cape Town airport, due to fears of plant disease/pests.
ReplyDeletePS I loved Jekka's Herbs. I even got to talk to Jekka herself!
